Vauxhall in the GP Turbos shop
Vauxhall already had its own section when the GP Turbos shop was first archived, in April 2019. The upgrades it listed fell into two groups: diesel hybrids for the 1.9 CDTi, and petrol upgrades for the Corsa VXR and the older C20LET.
Diesel: the 1.9 CDTi
The 1.9 CDTi (Vauxhall's name for its common-rail diesel) was shared with Fiat and Saab, and the listings covered all three badges between them. They included two versions: the 16-valve Z19DTH, with a variable-nozzle Garrett turbo, and the 8-valve Z19DTL. GP Turbos listed hybrids for both, plus a second Z19DTL build with a larger turbine wheel and a billet compressor wheel.
Petrol: Corsa VXR and C20LET
The Corsa VXR upgrade stripped the original turbo and rebuilt it with a 360° thrust-bearing pack, step-gap oil seals, a cut-back turbine wheel and an extended-tip billet compressor wheel, then balanced it. The C20LET build took an old K16 and gave it all-new internals.
Whatever the build, the gain depends on supporting modifications and a calibration matched to the new turbo. The listings are shown as history, so ask GP Turbos what it can build for your car now.
