This website is run by GP Turbos, the trading name of GP TURBOS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08731506). Our registered office is Welbeck House, Holme Lane, Scunthorpe DN16 3RF. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean GP TURBOS LTD, and "you" means anyone using the site.

These terms apply to your use of the website, including creating an account and posting on the forum. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. They do not cover buying turbos, parts or services from us: the details of anything you buy from us are agreed with you directly and are not part of these terms.

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and the version on this page applies each time you use the site, so please check it now and then.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. Using the site costs nothing, and we cannot promise that it, or any part of it, will always be available or work without interruption.

• You can create an account with an email address and a password, or by signing in with Google. If you use Google sign-in, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account.
• Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away at sales@gpturbos.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. We recommend turning on two-step verification in your account settings.
• Your username is shown publicly. Do not choose one that is offensive or that pretends to be another person or business.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

Most forum threads can be read by anyone, including people who are not signed in, and a thread for signed-in members can be read by anyone who creates an account. Treat what you post as public: your username and profile picture appear with it. Whenever you post a thread, a reply, a photo, a video, a file or a link, you must not post anything that:

• breaks the law or encourages anyone else to, including modifications that would make a vehicle illegal to use on public roads
• is defamatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful or obscene
• infringes anyone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights. Only post photos, videos and files that you created, own or have permission to share
• contains someone else's personal information without their permission
• is spam, or advertises goods or services without our agreement
• pretends to be another person or business, or misleads people about who you are
• contains viruses or other harmful code, or links to it.

Most technical advice on the forum comes from other users. We do not check it, and unless GP Turbos posted it, it is not our advice. Work on turbochargers, engines and fuel systems can damage a vehicle or cause injury if it is done wrongly, so have a suitably qualified person check anything before you rely on it.

To report a post that breaks these rules, email sales@gpturbos.com with a link to it.

We do not check every post before it appears. We may edit, hide, archive or remove any post or attachment, and suspend or close any account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, could harm someone, or could expose us to legal risk.

When a reply is deleted, its text is removed. If you archive a thread you started, it is hidden from everyone, you included, except our moderators, but it is kept, because other people's replies sit inside it.

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give GP TURBOS LTD a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display it on this website as part of the forum, and to quote it in the notification emails the forum sends. You confirm that you have the right to give us that licence and that your content follows the forum rules.

You are responsible for what you post. Uploads are subject to size and storage limits.

The content of this website, including its guides, forum posts and descriptions of turbochargers, parts, brands and car makes, is general information only. It is not advice about your particular vehicle, and you should not rely on it as if it were.

The result of any turbocharger or engine modification depends on the vehicle, its condition, its supporting modifications and a matching calibration. Modifying a vehicle can affect its insurance, and you may need to tell your insurer.

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that everything on it is accurate, complete or current.

We own, or are licensed to use, the content of this website, including its text, photographs, videos, graphics and design. It is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the site, and print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, republish or use any of it for a commercial purpose without our written permission.

The GP Turbos name and logo identify our business. Please do not use them in a way that suggests a connection with us that does not exist.

Car makers' names and logos, and the names and logos of other brands shown on this site, belong to their owners. We use them only to identify vehicles and products, and their appearance here does not mean that those companies endorse GP Turbos.

The site links to, and shows content from, other websites, including videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and Instagram, maps from OpenStreetMap, and the websites of other brands. They are there for information only. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your data.

You may link to our home page, as long as you do it fairly and lawfully and do not suggest any connection with, or endorsement by, GP Turbos that does not exist.

You must not misuse the site. In particular, you must not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, the systems behind it or any account other than your own
• introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attack the site, for example with a denial-of-service attack
• get around or interfere with the site's security features, including sign-in, two-step verification and limits on repeated requests
• use automated tools to collect information from the site, such as other users' details, without our permission.

Some of these can be criminal offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

We take reasonable care to keep the site secure, but we cannot promise that it will be free from faults or viruses. Please use your own virus protection.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

If you use the site as a consumer

We are liable for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill, and not for loss or damage that could not have been foreseen. Because the site is meant for private, non-business use, we are not liable to you for lost profits, lost business, business interruption or lost business opportunities.

These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

If you use the site for business

As far as the law allows, we exclude every condition, warranty and other term about the site or its content that would otherwise be implied. We will not be liable to you, whether in contract, in tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty or on any other basis, for loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from being unable to use it, or from relying on anything on it. That includes:

• lost profits, sales, revenue or business
• interruption to your business
• savings you expected to make
• lost business opportunities, goodwill or damage to your reputation
• any indirect or consequential loss.

Other people's content

We are not responsible for content that other users post, including technical advice on the forum.

• If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.
• If we do not enforce any of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• These terms are between you and us. Nobody else has any right to enforce them.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring them in the Scottish courts, and if you live in Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in the courts of Northern Ireland. If you use the site for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
