Grant's experience
Grant Parker has been tuning cars since the early 1990s, and GP Turbos Ltd was incorporated in 2013.

Where it started
The story from here is Grant's, as he tells it. He started out when street cars were becoming serious bits of kit.
One of Grant's most renowned cars was his 2.0l 16v MK1 VW Golf-GTI, running on bike carbs and nitrous, putting out 280bhp and running in the top 10 at GTI International quarter-mile sprints.
Into the late 1990s
Grant's MK2 VW Golf GTI, fitted with a 1.9tdi PD engine and a 6 speed box, was running 260bhp. By Grant's account, this beast won quickest diesel at GTI International with a — at the time — staggering 13.40s.
The turn of the millennium
From here, Grant's builds just got bonkers for street drag-racing cars. A Quattro MK1-GTI powered by a 2226cc 5-cyl turbo motor, which originally pushed 460bhp, was now boosting 850+bhp.
By Grant's account, it became the quickest VW Golf at GTI International, and this crazy beast won the 0-60mph challenge with a best of 2.47sec.
What's even more amazing is that almost 20 years later, Grant's well documented and very famous car was being outfitted with an incredible 1000bhp+ power house.
Later cars
Grant went on to run a SEAT Ibiza Cupra 1.9TDI track car that put out 300bhp, and an Audi UR Quattro 20v that ran 480bhp.

Over the years, Grant has built turbos for drag, track and fast-road cars, and helped with tuning specs for drag racers, rally-cross cars and turbo bikes.
