Mercedes-Benz in GP Turbos' listings
Mercedes-Benz had its own section in the GP Turbos shop by late 2020, and most of what it listed was diesel:
- A hybrid for the 3.0 V6 diesel in C-Class, E-Class, M-Class, CLS 320 and CLK 320 models, made to order. It paired an oversized extended-tip billet compressor wheel with a compressor housing machined, profiled and polished to suit, an uprated 360° thrust kit and twin step-gapped piston rings on the shaft.
- A second hybrid listed for the W212 E 350 CDI.
- Reconditioned standard turbos for the OM628 4.0 diesel and for the bi-turbo OM651 in the Sprinter.
The old listings quoted outputs that are not repeated here, because what any hybrid delivers depends on supporting modifications and a calibration matched to it. Treat the listings as history and ask what can be built for your engine now.
AMG engines
The Mercedes-AMG engines are not covered by the listings above, so start with the part numbers on the turbos and ask. Whether a rebuild or a hybrid makes sense depends on the condition of the originals, which can only be judged once they are stripped. The 4.0 V8 is shared with Aston Martin.
GP Turbos is independent of Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG. Model names are used only to identify which cars a turbo fits.
