What ASNU makes
ASNU, based in Hertfordshire, England, has a performance range that covers injectors, fuel rails, fuel pumps, manifold upgrades, fuel system fittings and custom parts. It also makes diagnostic machines for testing and cleaning petrol injectors. ASNU says it has more than 30 years' experience with injectors and is represented in over 38 countries.
According to ASNU, each of its performance injectors has a laser-cut, multi-hole orifice cap, with seven-hole caps used in the lower flow ranges, and coloured rings that identify its flow rate and spray angle. ASNU also publishes tuning data files for its injectors.
ASNU and a turbocharged build
A hybrid turbo supplies more air than the standard unit, and the engine needs fuel to match, with a calibration to suit. ASNU's fuel rails include a twin rail set for the Nissan R35 GT-R and top-feed conversion rails for the Nissan SR20DET and the Subaru WRX EJ20.
ASNU warns that fuels above 50% ethanol speed up wear, and advises that on E85 (85% ethanol) or methanol at race or drag events the fuel system "must be drained and flushed between events".
